Preston City Council celebrated 10 years of using Sitehelpdesk.com help desk products by giving a prize to the employee who made the 100,000th call to the council service desk.
The staff member won a Kindle e-book reader, donated by Sitehelpdesk.com, as a way of marking the long-running partnership that fields hundreds of help desk calls per day, with the software assisting with call logging and prioritising of problems.
“We are delighted to have a long standing 10 year partnership with Sitehelpdesk.com and their helpdesk software is a key critical component of our business and customer support,” said Preston City Council IT director Neil Fairhurst.
