Almost three-quarters of chief information officers (CIOs) believe their organisations will use at least one cloud service within the next 24 months, according to research undertaken by Xantus Consulting.
The report also found that over 75 per cent of IT bosses expect at least 25 per cent ROI on cloud systems, with the major obstacle facing implementation being the complexity of integrating cloud applications into existing IT infrastructures.
“Our research shows that everyone is looking to use cloud in at least part of their IT estate and that part is planned to grow over time. In essence, it’s good news for cloud computing,” says Xantus associate-director Mac Scott.
