LiveTime says its ITSM software is taking advantage of HTML5 which will allow it run on the latest and future generation of mobile devices.

LiveTime 6.5 includes 100 additional features, such as a report builder, localisation in 11 languages and multi-tenancy support which allows managed service providers to centrally manage each LiveTime installation.

HTML5 is designed to offer a smooth, interactive experience when looking at web pages or using online apps, without being tied to a particular platform meaning that LiveTime 6.5 will run on Apple iOS and Android devices.

The shift to HTML5 was further underlined by the recent news that Adobe is launching a browser animation and interaction tool called Edge which uses the web standard. The move could eventually lead to Adobe’s own Flash player being phased out.
