Food and facilities management services specialist Sodexo has been awarded a four star SDC (Service Desk Certification) rating from the SDI, one of only four businesses globally to have achieved such a high level of endorsement for the quality of IT services it delivers.
An official presentation of the award at the Service Desk show by SDI chairman Howard Kendall is the culmination of three and a half years work by Debbie Wright, service support manager, and the team at Sodexo to offer the best service possible to customers.
Mark Mitchelson, CTO of Sodexo, says SDC has provided a framework for developing service and staff excellence through the business. “Everyone, from the junior mainframe worker to the CEO has been part of this process. This means we all speak the same terminology and are moving towards the same goals.”
Vijay K Sharma, UK and Ireland CIO, explains the ultimate endorsement of the service. “Our already very high levels of customer satisfaction continue to improve and we constantly receive positive feedback from all levels of the business that says we are helping people work more effectively.”
