Codework has announced UK distribution rights for Specops Software’s line of password and desktop management products in a deal which could lead to Codework being given exclusive rights.
The latest release of Pathfinder from G2G3 offers online process assessment and a reporting portal in a software-as-a-service (SAAS) environment. Pathfinder is designed to collect process data and then use this to analyse the capability of IT services under review, and provide results, observations and recommendations. It can be used as a stand-alone cloud based service or as a component of other G2G3 products.
An interface designed to bring a social network, customisable feel to self-service users has been launched by Sunrise Software for its ITSM platform Sostenuto. Called Iguana, it’s intended to allow remote access to the platform through a web 2.0 interface, and includes global search, page updates and offers scope for Google homepage-style personalisation by users.
The recent Version 6 of Netviewer Support aims to improve remote help sessions to users of the company’s online screen sharing and document editing software. The application is cloud based, so does not require installation, obstacles such as firewalls are bypassed, and works in both Windows and Mac OS environments.
IT Governance has launched a toolkit designed help businesses ensure they are meeting standards around burgeoning social media. A second toolkit has been released to help any company or public sector organisation information security standard ISO27001.
