Serena has announced the launch of Service Manager, an ITSM suite designed to adapt to changes in business needs, without relying on outside or vendor consultants.
The suite is deployable from both the cloud or on-site, and offers a service request portal with a navigation system that the company believes will speed up problem resolution, and improve user satisfaction by reducing the need for “backdoor” requests for IT support outside of an organisations day-to-day needs.
“Serena Service Manager is something the ITSM market hasn’t seen before, a process-based, visually configurable system. It also includes a cleanly designed end user portal, which presents IT to the business in very attractive fashion,” says Serena vice-president David Hurwitz.
