Netviewer claims to have taken remote support to the next level, with the latest version of its technology promising to deliver excellent performance over any network and integrity of sound even during overseas or VOIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol) sessions.

Support 6.1 promises to minimise the impact of network latency by increasing transmission speeds, and an optimised audio codec is designed to maintain voice quality regardless of the location of the parties involved.

“Online support frequently suffers from marked delays in screen transmission and remote control. Delays or even breakdowns in voice transmission can adversely impact the delivery of remote support services.  With Version 6.1 of Netviewer Support, users experience little difference between remote access and standard PC usage,” says Jörg Mayer, board member of Netviewer AG.
