Lieberman outsource, 360

Outsourcers are not delivering the savings customers expect and falsely create ‘projects’ to justify fee increases.  Rather than cutting IT costs, a study conducted by Lieberman Software found that 42 per cent of agreements cost more than originally planned.

71 per cent of businesses surveyed outsource a ‘significant portion” of their IT, yet two-thirds believe that their providers fabricate effort to boost costs.

“The decision to outsource should not be taken lightly. However, for those organisations that are going to do so, they must select their IT outsourced partner on an appropriate set of criteria – not just cost, but resiliency, transparency, data security and ultimately trust,” says Lieberman president Philip Lieberman.
