Molton Brown IT staff now have instant access to sales and systems data following the deployment of VNC Enterprise Edition at retail outlets around the world.
Covering a portfolio of 50 UK stores and stockists in 70 countries, the technology allows IT staff to access sales information remotely from the UK head office, without disrupting customers or relying on individual store managers to send the required data.
“Now our IT technicians can access retail systems even outside of trading hours or when staff are busy with customers. As much of this data is confidential it is important that all sessions are authenticated and strongly-encrypted to ensure the secure transfer of data,” comments Molton Brown VP Tanay Taank.
