“Cracking remote IT support session Gromit”
Wallace and Gromit production house Aardman Animations has implemented remote IT support software from RealVNC to improve service across the multiple platforms used by its editing and animation studios.
Aardman was keen to improve the speed of technical fixes, configuration changes, and installing new software, without requiring a site visit from IT staff. Aardman also required a remote solution that supported Windows, Mac and Linux, without the need for a centralised server.
“The ease-of-use, cross-platform support and ability to connect direct from viewer to server without a central server make it the ideal solution for us. We’re very happy with the role VNC plays in production,” says Aardman Animations Paul Reeves.
