PRS for Music, the music royalty collection service, says it has reduced IT costs and minimised risk by implementing key ITIL (IT Infrastructure Library) processes and buying 100 licences of Hornbill’s IT service management software, Supportworks. The level of care offered to more than 800 IT users has improved because service desk staff can view support data centrally, and Supportworks has simplified the management of queries and reduced the duplication of tasks. “Having a central database to record data enables us to manage the workloads and interact more easily across the different IT teams; the goal is to further improve IT service provision to the business once complete,” says Richard Turner, business analyst at PRS. |
