Internet Group scoops two IT Service Excellence Awards |

The Internet Group emerged as the big winner at the SDI (Service Desk Institute) annual awards, winning two of the four categories. The haul represented the first time that any single business received two awards. The first, Supplier of the Year, was voted by the Internet Group customers, while Matthew John was crowned Professional of the Year by a panel of experts. Tony Ranson, a judge for the Professional of the Year award, congratulated John’s achievement. “Matt displayed to the judges sincerity in his passionate pursuit of excellent customer service delivery. His enthusiasm is infectious to everyone around him and consequently every member of his team is as motivated as he is to deliver great service.” The remaining awards were given to Swinton Group and IPC Media, which won the Small Team and Large Team Excellence Awards respectively. Howard Kendall, chairman of SDI, spoke of the high standards demonstrated by the winners. “The awards recognise and reward outstanding contributions to innovation in customer service, excellence in IT service management and outstanding performance and I congratulate all of the finalists and winners; they can be very proud of their achievements.” |
